Now once I turn the Tv on it goes the process of turning on and going to the Home screen, but after around 5 seconds it changes back to the cinevision screen and I'm locked out. I can here the tv program running in background but I have no control via remote or manually to get back to home screen. I have tried to get into the settings options on home screen but it locks me out to the cinevision screen before I can get to turn of wifi or reset all settings.

On another note, the play store won't work at all and nor will app lib, aptoide works and the amazon store appears to. Netflix doesnt want to let the videos load atm although that may just be my connection atm, ill try again tommoz and see what I come up with.

I have a V14B also, downloaded the netflix app from amazon appstore, installed no problems. But when I go to play a movie, I get error 0013, and after speaking to Netflix support seems our TV isn't supported as of yet. He sent the model to there techs to get started on it. He also said they are working on the Kogans, and couldn't even get into the app on that.

I would like to know if anyone successfully rooted this TV?

I'd like to try disabling Cinavision altogether or at least install AdAway to get rid of the annoying ads.

I've had success sideloading apps off my network using ES file explorer (ES file explorer is one of the few usefull apps in the woefully inadequate inbuilt app store).

I'm wondering if I can use Framaroot from here to get root access. Then we can really start to mess around.

Though id sign up to share that i rooted my E55S14A using rootking deleted the annoying

Cinavision and market apps trying to install google play app but no go just yet,

Using kodi 15.2 it seems to work alright just cant watch anything HD seems to stutter.

Ill leave the youtube link i followed, only thing i didnt do is the usb debugging, iam not sure if you can on the smart tvs so i skipped it, so fall it seems to run really well.

I just bought a Soniq S55V16A-AU yesterday.

It says it has android 4.4 but I can't find a play store at all so I don't know what you mean.

It has auto updated the firmware and android itself but still no play store.

Would love to get netflix, stan, free to air apps, foxtel go, etc working on this tv so I don't have to purchase another apple tv.

However, do not buy it if you are wanting a real smart tv. The major brands shit all over this one if you want a real smart tv. My sisters LG smart tv is excellent software wise compared with this. Has access to the real play store with all of the right apps. No wifi built in though not an issue cause they have the router next to it. Unless I can figure out how to get the play store working properly, then I'll change my mind. 17dc91bb1f
