I have always been attracted to textures and patterns in nature, metal and wood. After leaving college in the 90's and working in theater and film as a painter and model maker, I discovered many painting techniques such as aging and staining to replicate decay as well as recreating nature in miniature. As a mural painter I gained experience in painting large scale landscapes. My art and photography is a collection of these experiences and has led me to use these learned techniques to depict decay and beauty in nature that I have come across in my travels.
