My name is Cillian O'Keeffe and I am a young artist from Carrigaline, Co. Cork. I started art from a young age and grew up painting and drawing. I am currently in my 2nd year of studying Creative Digital Media in MTU Cork.

Up until now I have won a few awards and competitions, and have taken part in a few other events and projects. I won the Irish Open Children's Art Competition in 2014, I also won Carrigaline tidy towns competition in 2016 and presented a portrait to Simon Coveny at a local exhibition I participated in. I took part in the Read On competition where I illustrated a short graphic novel which was an interesting and different experience for me.

My media vary to say the least. I have painted from a young age and enjoy oils and watercolors, but acrylics are my personal favorite. Pens, inks and pencils have been my  medium of choice for a while now and in the past few months I have experimented with mixing inks and digital coloring (examples can be seen in the inks page). I am very open to trying new materials and in the past year I have also started drawing and painting digitally. Also I have tried wall murals, clay, fiber art, pastels and charcoals, Photoshop and many many more mediums.
