CivilCalc ("the App") is a high-performance civil engineering suite developed by AntoTech ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App. The App is a professional tool designed to perform structural calculations, estimations of construction materials (concrete, steel, brick), beam analysis, retaining wall design, and technical unit conversions. We are committed to protecting your privacy. The App operates on a Privacy-by-Design principle: your technical data and calculations are processed locally on your device and are never collected, stored, or transmitted to our servers.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide (Processed Locally)

• Engineering Data: Dimensions, loads, soil parameters, and material properties (f'c, fy) entered for calculations.

• Structural Parameters: Input values for beam sections, retaining walls, and soil profiles.

• Project Estimates: Quantities and specifications provided for material take-offs.

• Note: All processing occurs strictly within your device's local environment. We do not have access to your designs, calculations, or engineering results.

B. Automatically Collected Information

• Device & Usage Data: Non-personal information such as device model, operating system, and browser version may be processed to ensure technical compatibility and responsive layout performance.

• Version & Configuration Checks: The App fetches a small remote configuration file (via secure servers like GitHub/Gist) to notify you of critical engineering updates and ensure you are running the latest version of the calculation engines. This process does not collect or transmit personal user information.

C. Third-Party Services

• Advertising (Google AdMob): The App displays advertisements (including banners and app-open ads) to remain free of charge. AdMob may collect identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), IP addresses, and usage data to serve relevant ads. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for details.

3. How We Use Your Information

• App Functionality: To generate accurate engineering results, structural diagrams, and material lists.

• Update Monitoring: To notify you of new features or updated building code standards via the remote version check system.

• Maintenance: To improve app performance and fix technical bugs in the calculation engines.

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your engineering data or results to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Local Processing: All sensitive engineering parameters stay on your device. We do not use cloud synchronization for your calculations to ensure total data sovereignty.

• User Responsibility: Since data is local, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. Clearing app cache or storage will remove your locally saved calculation history.

5. Permissions

• Storage/Files: To possibly save or export calculation reports.

• Internet: To perform remote version checks and display advertising via Google AdMob.

• Haptic Feedback: To provide confirmation during interactions.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Data Control: You can reset the application at any time to clear local settings.

• Opt-Out: You can stop all data processing by uninstalling the App. You may also opt-out of personalized ads through your device's privacy settings (e.g., "Reset Advertising ID").
