Kelly Poon
Kelly is a first-year master’s student at the University of South Florida’s (USF) Criminology program. She also received her B.A. in Criminology and minor in Psychology from USF in May 2025. Having been involved in research during her undergraduate years, Kelly’s research interests vary; from prisoner reentry and recidivism to the impacts of mental health on cybervictimizations and/or future propensity to commit cybercrimes. In the future, Kelly hopes to pursue a career at the state or federal level concerning corrections and the criminal justice system. Additionally, she would like to involve herself in public policies that address prison reform, mental health, or the legal system.
