There will be a London Routemaster Bus to bring guests who requested it on the RSVP from St. Albans City Centre Premier Inn to Hatfield House, departing at 12:00pm.
The Old Tudor Palace is located within Hatfield House Park and Gardens. The pedestrian entrance to Hatfield Park is opposite Hatfield Train Station.
It is also a 40 minute bus or 20 minute taxi from St Albans City Train Station.
Both Hatfield and St Albans City are 20 minutes from Kings Cross on a fast train.
Please note, Hatfield and St Albans City are just outside of the Oyster Card Zone, so please be reminded to purchase a valid ticket. Contactless bank card payments can be used at either station.
The nearest airport is Luton Airport.
You can take the Dart from the Airport to Luton Airport Parkway. From there, direct trains to St Albans City Train Station take 30 minutes. It works out cheaper if you get a train ticket from Luton Airport all the way to St Albans City station, rather than paying for the Dart separately.
The Old Tudor Palace at Hatfield House is a 40 minute bus or 20 minute taxi from St Albans City Train Station.
Hatfield Park is 21 miles from Central London, 7 miles North of the M25 motorway (junction 23) and 2 miles East of the A1(M) (junction 4). Exit the A1(M) at junction 4 (after the Hatfield Tunnel if travelling from the South) and follow the brown leisure signs for Hatfield House via the A414 and A1000. For Sat Nav please use AL9 5HX.
