Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) have made remarkable contributions to American society and culture. We are delighted to announce our 3rd AAPI Heritage Month Essay Contest, scheduled for May 2024, in commemoration of AAPI Heritage Month. We warmly invite Iowa students of diverse ethnicities, races, and nationalities to participate.
Please submit your essay and signed consent form as attached files to: AAPIStory@gmail.com, with "AAPI Essay Contest" as the subject line. For inquiries, please write to the same email address.
Deadline: April 30, 2024, by 11:59pm.
We seek personal essays rather than research papers.
Reflect on your personal experiences, or those of your family and friends, to explore the impact of AAPI heritage on your personal growth.

Share how AAPI heritage has contributed to your personal and intellectual development.
