If you want high-fidelity stereo sound, a massive 23-hour battery life, and a foldable design for gym or office use, choose CHUYI Earphone Over Ear; if you need waterproof durability for swimming, bone conduction safety awareness, and a dedicated MP3 player that works underwater, choose Aiandcc Swimming Headphones.
• CHUYI Earphone Over Ear: Offers robust 27mm dynamic drivers for deep bass and an impressive 23-hour playtime, but it is not waterproof and cannot be used in water.
• Aiandcc Swimming Headphones: Features IPX8 waterproofing with bone conduction technology for safe outdoor and aquatic use, but its battery life is shorter at 8 hours and it lacks traditional stereo drivers.
• Best For: The CHUYI pick is ideal for commuters, gamers, and fitness enthusiasts who prioritize sound quality and long sessions on land.
• Best For: The Aiandcc pick is essential for swimmers, triathletes, and runners who need to hear their surroundings while staying connected to music without blocking their ears.
The CHUYI Earphone Over Ear is built for the person who treats audio as a central part of their daily routine, whether they are commuting to work, grinding through a workout, or gaming in the living room. Its primary strength lies in its commitment to sound fidelity and endurance. The device houses a 27mm full audio unit capable of delivering high-quality stereo sound with what the manufacturer describes as CD-level clarity. This isn't just about volume; it is about the depth of the bass and the separation of instruments, which makes a significant difference when you are listening to complex tracks or trying to hear subtle details in a movie.
For the user who values convenience and longevity, the battery performance here is a standout feature. With a built-in 300mAh rechargeable battery, this headset promises up to 23 hours of continuous music playback. That means you can take it from Monday morning through Friday evening without needing to hunt for a charger. A charging time of only about one hour ensures that any downtime is minimal. The inclusion of a battery indicator light also removes the guesswork, letting you know exactly when it is time to plug in before the power dies during your day.
Comfort is another pillar of this product, specifically designed for extended wear. The soft leather ear tips and the titanium alloy steel wire construction allow the headphones to adapt to different head shapes without causing pain or pressure points after hours of use. The foldable design adds to its practicality; you can twist and fold the unit into a compact shape that fits easily into a backpack or desk drawer without taking up space. While the Bluetooth 4.0 connection provides a stable link up to 33 feet away, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor sports, it is important to note that this is a terrestrial device. It is not sealed against moisture, so it is strictly for dry environments like the gym, the office, or the park.

You should buy this if you are looking for the best rechargeable sports earbuds for switch users who want to listen to games or music with high fidelity and don't plan on getting them wet. However, if your workout involves jumping into a pool or you live in a region where heavy rain is common, you might find the lack of waterproofing to be a dealbreaker. It is also worth noting that while it features noise reduction for calls, it does not have active noise cancellation for the music itself, meaning you will still hear ambient noise around you.
The Aiandcc Swimming Headphones serve a very specific, non-negotiable niche: people who need to swim with music. Unlike standard wireless earbuds that rely on Bluetooth signals which simply do not travel through water, this device solves that problem by integrating a 32GB MP3 player directly into the hardware. You can store up to 8,000 songs on the device, giving you enough library space for months of training without ever needing to pair with a smartphone. This independence is crucial for swimmers who want to leave their phones on the pool deck while maintaining their playlist.
Safety and situational awareness are the driving forces behind the open-ear, bone conduction design. By transmitting sound through vibration on the cheekbones rather than plugging into the ear canal, these headphones leave your ears completely open. This allows you to hear the splashing of water, the voice of a lifeguard, or traffic while running outdoors. The lightweight build, weighing only 36.6 grams, ensures that the device feels almost weightless on your head, even when combined with a swim cap or goggles. The flexible memory titanium frame is engineered to stay secure during vigorous movements, preventing the headphones from slipping off during flips or dives.
Durability is where this product truly shines. Rated IPX8 waterproof, these headphones can withstand immersion up to 2 meters for an hour, making them resilient enough for competitive swimming, water aerobics, or accidental drops in the tub. The magnetic fast-charging system allows for a full charge in about an hour, and the LED display provides clear visibility of the battery level and current mode. While the battery life of 8 hours is sufficient for most workouts, it is significantly less than the CHUYI model, reflecting the trade-off required for the waterproof engineering and the smaller form factor.
This product is the perfect choice for anyone seeking open ear earbuds for switch users who enjoy mixing digital entertainment with physical activity in varied environments. It is also an excellent kids headset for switch users who need durable, safe gear that won't fall out during play. However, if you are an audiophile who demands deep, immersive bass or plans to use these headphones for long-haul flights where isolation is key, the open-ear design might feel too exposing. The sound quality is delivered via bone conduction, which offers clear audio but lacks the sub-bass punch of traditional dynamic drivers.
• Best for Battery Life → CHUYI Earphone Over Ear: With 23 hours of playtime versus 8 hours, the CHUYI model wins decisively for all-day usage.
• Best for Waterproofing → Aiandcc Swimming Headphones: Only the Aiandcc model offers true IPX8 protection and can survive being submerged in water.
• Best for Sound Quality (Bass) → CHUYI Earphone Over Ear: The 27mm dynamic driver provides a richer, fuller sound profile compared to the bone conduction technology of the Aiandcc.
• Best for Safety Awareness → Aiandcc Swimming Headphones: The open-ear design lets you hear your environment, which is critical for road safety and poolside awareness.
• Best for Storage Independence → Aiandcc Swimming Headphones: The built-in 32GB storage means you can swim without carrying a phone, whereas the CHUYI requires a paired device.
• Best for Comfort During Long Sessions → CHUYI Earphone Over Ear: The larger ear cups and leather padding may offer more cushioning for marathon listening sessions compared to the minimalist bone conduction fit.
• Best for Portability → Aiandcc Swimming Headphones: At 36.6g and with no folding mechanism needed, the Aiandcc is incredibly light and easy to clip onto a bag or pocket.
• Best Value for Swimmers → Aiandcc Swimming Headphones: If your primary activity is water-based, the CHUYI is useless, making the Aiandcc the only logical value proposition.
In my opinion, the choice between these two comes down entirely to your environment. If I am spending my day in a gym, an office, or on a run where I might get sweaty but not submerged, I would choose the CHUYI Earphone Over Ear. The combination of 23-hour battery life and superior bass response creates a much more satisfying audio experience for general consumption. However, if I am training for a triathlon, swimming laps, or running near busy roads where hearing traffic is mandatory, I would immediately switch to the Aiandcc Swimming Headphones. The ability to go fully waterproof and keep my ears open is a game-changer that the CHUYI simply cannot match. Ultimately, for a versatile user who wants the best rechargeable sports earbuds for switch and land-based activities, the CHUYI is the stronger contender, but for anyone who needs open ear earbuds for switch users engaging in water sports, the Aiandcc is the undisputed winner.
Only the Aiandcc Swimming Headphones are suitable for swimming because they are IPX8 rated and include a built-in MP3 player for underwater use. The CHUYI Earphone Over Ear is not waterproof and will be damaged by water.
The CHUYI Earphone Over Ear lasts significantly longer, offering up to 23 hours of music playback compared to the 8 hours provided by the Aiandcc Swimming Headphones.
Neither model features active noise cancellation for music. The CHUYI has a microphone for noise reduction during calls, while the Aiandcc uses an open-ear design to let you hear your surroundings for safety.
Yes, both models connect via Bluetooth to smartphones, tablets, and other devices. The Aiandcc also functions independently via its internal 32GB storage, while the CHUYI relies entirely on a connected device.
