菲律賓大學（University of the Philippines, UP）是菲律賓共和國規模最大與學術聲譽最高的頂尖國立大學系統，並與國立清華大學皆為環太平洋大學聯盟（Association of Pacific Rim Universities, APRU）成員，兩校在各自國家之學術地位與社會影響力在皆具有舉足輕重的代表性與國際評價。

近年來隨者科技進步與運動裝置的多元，台灣在運動科技與AI應用上有極佳的實務經驗與研發能量，因此本次研討會之內容將聚焦於科技與AI在體育教學與運動訓練上的應用，來增進與探討本校與菲律賓大學日後運動科技之創新應用與分享交流。 

The University of the Philippines (UP) is the largest and most prestigious national university system in the Republic of the Philippines. It holds the highest academic reputation and is recognized as a leading institution in the country. Both UP and National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) are members of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), signifying their significant academic status and societal influence within their respective nations and on the international stage.

In recent years, with advancements in technology and the diversification of wearable devices, Taiwan has developed exceptional expertise and research capabilities in sports technology and AI applications. This symposium will focus on the integration of technology and AI in physical education and sports training, fostering discussions on innovative applications in sports science. The goal is to share knowledge from each other's professional fields and enhance collaboration between NTHU and UP, facilitating knowledge exchange and future advancements in sports technology.
