The Sport & Behavioral Neuroscience Lab is based at National Cheng Kung University since 2014 by Dr. Chun-Hao Wang. The primary goal is to unravel the link among sport experience, exercise behavior, and their psycho-physiological correlates on cognitive and brain functioning. We are particularly interested in the synergistic effect of cognitive abilities and exercise training on behavioral and physiological outcomes related to brain enhancement. Our research focuses include, 1. the neural mechanisms underlying the cognitive transfer effect of sports training, 2. the effect of multimodal training (i.e., combining exercise with cognitive training) on cognitive functions, 3. the link between exercise behavior & brain health across lifespan.

Dr. Chun-Hao Wang (王駿濠博士) is invited by Scientific American (科學人雜誌) and gave an exciting talk about neurocognitive performances in professional athletes! [video]

Congratulations! Dr. Chun-Hao Wang received a three years grant from MOST to investigate the link among perceptual decision making, neural complexity, and sports performance.
