Born on the coast of São Paulo, in the city of Praia Grande Brazil, Christian Marques showed an early interest in the sound of pop and electronic music through listening to radio and watching television, citing Mix FM as one of his main early influences. During his childhood and adolescence, he faced difficulties at school, including learning problems and bullying, which led him to find a personal refuge in music.
In 2017, following changes in family dynamics and his mother's conversion to Christianity, Christian began attending the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God in 2018. During this period, his musical focus shifted to the gospel genre. In 2020, he began learning keyboard at the religious institution, a foundation that would serve as the basis for his future electronic music productions.

After a period residing in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil (2020–2022), he returned to his hometown.
In 2023, inspired by the success of 'Hear Me Now' (by Alok and Zeeba), he decided to enter the electronic music production field. Starting with a very basic, low-performance laptop that constantly struggled and froze while running FL Studio, he showed his determination by producing his first remix: a version of 'Deus do Impossível' by Davi Sacer, featuring his own vocals. Between November 2023 and February 2024, he dedicated himself to the Gospel Remix genre. However, due to a lack of technical resources and commercial return, he eventually sold his equipment and discontinued his activities.
In June 2025, he resumed his career using FL Studio Mobile software on a smartphone, producing the remix "Sunsynth". In August of the same year, after acquiring a computer, he released the remix "Alegria FJU 2", consolidating his technical evolution.
In September 2025, the artist suffered a significant setback: his official YouTube channel, maintained for five years, was hacked, resulting in the total loss of his release history and community. Around the same time, Chrys Markys announced a strategic shift in his career, moving from the gospel niche to the international remix market, aiming to expand his audience to the United States and Europe.
Dj Chrys Markys style is characterized by the fusion of elements from Bass House, Deep House, Slap House, and EDM. "I like to make remixes with a more melodic sound and bring motivational and cheerful vibes, giving that feeling of listening to music on the beach and watching the sunset," said Chrys Markys. He has become known for his technical flexibility, being able to produce high-fidelity tracks both in mobile environments and on professional Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs). His current production focuses on remixes of global hits with a modern electronic twist.
Alongside his artistic career, Chrys Markys maintains a regular employment contract, balancing independent music production with professional activities outside the artistic field. He has been an active member of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God since 2018, and currently plays keyboards in the FJU band in his region since 2022.
