Christoph Kaufmann

I am an economist at the European Central Bank, where I work as Senior Financial Stability Expert in the Market-based Finance Division of the Directorate General for Macroprudential Policy and Financial Stability (DGMF).

I hold a Ph.D. (Dr. rer. pol.) in economics from University of Cologne.

My research interests lie in the fields of monetary and international macroeconomics, macro-finance, and fiscal policy. My work features both empirical and (DSGE) model-based analysis.

My current policy work at the ECB is on macroprudential policy and financial stability with a focus non-bank financial intermediation.
