Hey Peter . I wonder if the new #DISLEAPYEAR# would help . I know we ? you have had to come up with Grunt stand-ins for #DISDAYTIM# . I see that most of those formulas are to do with leap years . The countdown is relatively simpler it is crossing Zero that is always the problem .

We started by putting all of his candy in baggies of 25 (starting the countdown Dec 1st). When we were ready to assembly we laid out the cellophane in a long strip (getting 3 width wise out of each strip).

I've always wanted some sort of Christmas countdown art. This is one of those projects that in my head was going to be quick and easy and turn out beautifully. None of that happened but it's still cute in it's own quirky way. (It also photographs horribly. Eh.)

I love it! My mom used to make such fun Christmas countdown chains with my brother and I as kids! I saw recently where someone made one with velcro so it can be re-used over and over again. Not a bad idea either!
