Christina Wott

Christina Wott is a laser scientist who is pursuing her childhood dream of writing. She is currently querying her first science fiction novel (a feminist space opera), submitting short stories, and working on her next novel (cyberpunk zombies in space). Science fiction, magical realism, literary fiction, and trope subversion all characterize her writing style.

A memoir and travel piece by Christina was published in the journal Feminartsy. Read it here. Her story "Hit Me" first appeared in the January 2019 LGBT issue of the magical realism journal, the Gateway Review, and is now available from MetaStellar magazine as a reprint.

From June 2017 to January 2019, Christina made an around-the-world backpacking journey that you can read about at wottcouldgowrong.com. Currently, she resides in Boulder, CO with her spouse, a robot vacuum, and too many bicycles.
