The Boutique

As a second year student at Seneca in the Fashion Business Management program, I got the chance to be part of running the Boutique at Seneca for a semester. My role at the Seneca Boutique was in the social media team as a Instagram content creator, where I developed social media content and posted stories and images to Instagram along with captions to engage customers.

Instagram Posts:

These are some examples of the Instagram posts I developed for the Boutique during the holiday season in November. As this course was fully online we had to operate digitally which created more of a challenge when developing social media content as we didn't have any model photography. We had to be creative with the posts to ensure the content was engaging yet informative to lead the customer to the website.

Instagram Stories:

Along with the Instagram posts I also created Instagram stories during the same time period to go along with the content and theme. Our stories were more interactive with moving elements to create more engagement and excitement toward the advertised products, promotions, events and the holiday shopping season.
