Session Description:

Modeling is a powerful teaching tool. If we expect our students to write for an audience, shouldn't we expect the same of ourselves? Blogging can improve your writing skills, promote your library, and provide a platform to grow professionally.   Connecting with other education- and library-related blogs can be an effective and enriching way to grow your personal learning network.  Blog a little, blog a lot, automate posts across platforms, include media or don’t--the choice is yours and can change as your comfort level with blogging grows.

Participants will start a blog on Blogger or Wordpress platforms and explore different ways to use blogging as a librarian.
