Session Description:

Christina E. Taylor spoke with UT iSchool students about her work as a special librarian at the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC). The session explored TSLAC’s role in supporting public libraries across Texas, along with an overview of Christina’s career journey in information science. She shared what she loves about her work, what the day-to-day work is really like, and the challenges and rewards of working in a statewide public service organization. The presentation concluded with time for questions and answers.
