Some say, "It’s my body, my choice!" However, is it really your body that we are speaking about? Is murdering an innocent child really preserving your body? Rather, are you simply preserving yourself from experiencing labor because you are too lazy to go through it and have a child? Is it really "your body" when you take away the potential future of an unborn child? Just imagine if Michael Jackson had been aborted or Kamala Harris! Is it really all good and right to take that chance away from a person to be successful and change lives? These questions and more will I address within this article.
Abortion has been an idea since ancient times. There is bound to have been someone who has had an abortion. One of the earliest recorded abortions were during the times when Israel was corrupted by worship of false gods, one being Molek. Some of the people of Israel burned their children in fires as a sacrifice to this false god. Although the children were killed after being born, their early deaths are still a form of abortion. Move on to today: abortion is now something that most people hold as a "human right." Abortion propped up in the United States at a time when social issues were being questioned. Things such as employment rights, social programs, civil rights, and women's rights were the center of America’s interest. This period of time brought women the right to vote, get a job, serve in military, and serve in government. Although women's rights flourished in these times, there is a mistake that was made along the way. Somehow, groups were able to get abortion to be somewhat normal for the society at the time. They were able to market abortion as some kind of way to preserve youth and independence. In reality, abortion preserves nothing. The common error in men and women's minds these days is that the female body becomes less attractive after a pregnancy. This is false, all the weight gained will easily be burned off with simple exercise and a healthy diet, and there is no evidence that a pregnancy would lead to decreased sexuality. Rather, in most cases, pregnancy actually increases happiness in marriage, thus leading to more intimacy and sexual health. The lies about the benefits of abortion still linger today. Furthermore, abortion is disproportionately performed. In the United States, most abortions are performed for black individuals. Why is this, you may ask? It is because blacks have been brainwashed into committing abortions. Like I said earlier, certain pro-abortion groups have been able to change the public perception on abortion, having even targeted poor neighborhoods and historically black populations. This makes abortion not only an inhumane and ungodly act, but is yet another remnant of Jim Crow in America. Abortion groups have brought about an alarming decrease of black Americans.
Abortion is viewed by most to be a literal law of human rights. People think that abortion is a good practice and people applaud those who have abortions. However, it is clear that God does not want women to kill their offspring. Some people say that abortion is fine since the child isn't even born yet. Well actually, the spirit exists inside the unborn baby as well as the pre-infant state of the body. Basically they are saying that because it is a body that has not reached a certain state, it is completely fine to eliminate it. Now then, does that sound right to you? Let's say we flip the script and make the basis of elimination on color of skin. Let's say now that we can say a child isn't worth living and should be eliminated because it does not meet our standards because it is a black child. Does that sound right to you? If it doesn't sound right in the sense of color, it shouldn't sound right in the sense of a state of body. The opposing side however, the one against abortion sees it as an immoral thing. Those who listen to God know that abortion shouldn't even be legal. However, the times are against God on this one.
Abortion impacts more than just a child that people think is worthless. Not only is a life lost, but the lives of the ones responsible in killing it are ruined. The impacts on a woman can go two ways: one, the woman has a sense of pride and self-righteousness along with an ounce of independent juice. And, two, the woman feels like she has made a mistake, having much guilt and remorse for what she has done. Obviously a woman in decline from an abortion can lead to severe depression, anxiety, and suicidal tendencies, thus, a woman who could have lived along with her baby, died because of a selfish (or forced upon) decision. Also, the uncovering of abortion from parents brings much shame to them. Simply the act of incest or inappropriate or foolish sexual relations is nothing compared to one having an abortion. Furthermore, having an abortion will definitely impact one's faith in God. Doing this act is murder, and will bring a drastic change in one's attitude toward life. Although abortion is forgivable, it must not be done.
Abortion is a key issue in politics. Largely, Democrats wish to keep abortion legal and Republicans do not. Liberals are wings of far-left Democrats who largely want to push abortion as a general right, and to educate or even mandate it on the public. Conservative Republicans want to radically push abortion off a cliff. The divide between Democrats and Republicans and even independents is pushing a divide on the issue.
I am neither a Democrat nor a Republican. I assign myself as an independent who is radically conservative, socially conservative, and for big government on social issues. What should be done in my opinion is this: the entire system of abortion should be completely made illegal. There is no reason why one should have an abortion. I don't even care if someone has sex with their parents or close family members, it doesn't matter, and there should not be any abortions because of it. The notion that irregular or hard circumstances in life will make a child have a depressing life, yet, this is not true. Some of our greatest leaders, musicians, artists, actors, and public figures have been born into hard circumstances. Be it poverty, abuse, whatever. And they even attribute part of their talents to the experiences they had. It is simply against God that one could kill a child before being born. Any woman who even tries to get an abortion should face penalties. Abortion is murder and all clinics should be shut down and burned to the ground. This part of our American history is just as gross and evil as the times of slavery. We must stop the normalization of abortion, we must stop the targeted decreasing of the black population in America, and we must make abortion illegal.
