Welcome!
Until 2018-12 I was an employee research associate at the Chair of Engineering Mechanics at Paderborn University, Germany. Currently, in my position as Specialist Numerical Simulation I concentrate on the characterization, modeling and robust simulation of cellular and compact elastomers.
My research interests are
- Computational mechanics (Solving boundary value problems for partial differential equations using the FEM)
- Multi-scale simulation and microstructure homogenization (analytically and numerically)
- Modeling of anisotropy as well as experimental mechanics related to anisotropy
- Phase-field modeling including stability and related branching for fluid-structure interaction
- Experimental characterization of polymers like plastics and elastomers
For more information, see my phd thesis which was published at shaker
