Open position: Postdoctoral Researcher in "Data Economy: Organization, Innovation and Regulation"

At the department of Strategy in the Faculty of Business and Economics (HEC Lausanne), we're seeking to complement our team with a postdoctoral researcher.

newed and the project is funded until 31/12/2024.

100%, or part-time by agreement

You will be part of a research project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation on “
Data Economy: Organization, Innovation and Regulation”.
The Principal Investigator of this project is Christian Peukert. His research studies how digitization affects consumers, firms and markets, published in journals such as Management Science, Marketing Science, Information Systems Research, Strategic Management Journal, and Research Policy.

Your responsibilities

  • 100% of the postdoctoral researcher’s time will be dedicated to research and related activities.

Your qualifications

We are looking for one candidate with the following qualifications:

  • PhD in Economics, Management or related disciplines

  • Strong research interest in platforms, data and artificial intelligence, privacy

  • Very strong background in quantitative research methods, mostly empirical

  • Demonstrated ability to publish in high-profile journals

  • Ability to work independently

  • Fluency in English
