Sol's vocals are at once raw, smooth, and haunting—careening from an earthy rasp to crisp falsetto, backed by sweeps of fingerpicking and expansive chordal arrangements—yielding a live performance that will linger with you long after the lights come up.

His stripped down 2020 debut record Some Paradise is being followed by a string of releases in 2022—including the collaborative alt-pop single "Let You Down," produced by Juno-nominated artist Shawn Hook—leading to his sophomore EP Sugar & Smoke, which showcases his distinct honed craft with elevated production, featuring plush arrangements of keys and cello cradled by dreamy ambience.
