Soumyadip Choudhury earned his PhD from Leibniz Institute for Polymer Research Dresden (IPF Dresden) affiliated under Dresden University of Technology (TU Dresden), Germany in 2014. Thereafter he stayed as post-doctoral fellow at the same institute for another year. During the period from 07/2015 to 09/2017, he worked as post-doctoral fellow at INM - Leibniz Institute for New Material in SaarbrĂĽcken, Germany. He also worked as guest scientist at CSIR in Pretoria, South Africa during the period 04/2017 - 06/2017 under the CREATe collaborative research programme on the frame of EU Horizon 2020. Since 10/2017 he moved to Chemnitz University of Technology (TU Chemnitz) in the professorship of polymer chemistry led by Prof. Michael Sommer, and Dr. Choudhury formed his own research group with PhD and Master students. He also was engaged in teaching (polymer chemistry, facets of materials and polymer chemistry laboratory) at TU Chemnitz. Since 17/08/2020, he joined Rubber Technology Centre at IIT Kharagpur and serving himself as assistant professor.
