No data is collected whatsoever.
## 1. No Data Collection
ChordEX does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
- **No Account Required:** You do not need to create an account to use the app.
- **No Identity Tracking:** We do not know who you are.
- **No Usage Tracking:** We do not use cookies, trackers, or analytics (telemetry).
## 2. Local Storage
All project data, chord progressions, and settings are stored locally on your own device. This data never leaves your device unless you manually choose to export it (e.g., sharing a MIDI file).
## 3. No Telemetry
We do not collect "crash reports" or "anonymous usage statistics." If the app crashes, the information stays on your device.
## 4. Permissions
- **Filesystem/Storage:** Used exclusively to save and share your exported MIDI, JSON, and Audio files at your request.
- **WebMIDI:** Used only to connect to your external MIDI hardware for playback.
## 5. Third-Party Services
ChordEX is a standalone offline-first tool. It does not connect to any servers or third-party APIs during standard operation.
## 6. Children's Privacy
Since we collect no data, ChordEX is safe for users of all ages.
