ChitSoft (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the ChitSoft mobile application. This application functions as a client-side interface for chit fund management software and is intended for use by authorized chit fund businesses and their clients to access permitted records and services.
We are committed to protecting user privacy and handling personal data in a transparent, lawful, and secure manner in accordance with applicable Indian laws and Google Play policies.
ChitSoft is a business utility application designed to support chit fund operations. The app enables authorized users to access and manage chit-related records through our software system.
The application supports:
Customer enrollment and profile access
Receipt generation, viewing, and printing
Ledger and statement access
Passbook and balance checking
Internal chit and loan record management
ChitSoft does not provide public investment services, financial advice, or guaranteed returns.
Depending on user role and app usage, the following information may be collected:
Name
Mobile number
User ID
Login credentials (securely processed and not publicly visible)
Customer enrollment information
Receipt and payment details
Ledger, chit, and loan records
Statements accessed through the app
Device ID
Operating system and app version
Network and diagnostic data
📍 Live location is collected only while the app is actively in use, primarily during login and secure sessions.
ChitSoft requests foreground (live) location access only for security and verification purposes.
Location data is used to:
Verify login attempts and detect suspicious access
Prevent unauthorized use of business and client data
Protect sensitive financial and operational records
Enforce security policies defined by the chit business
🔐 If location permission is not granted, login access may be restricted for security reasons.
🚫 We do not collect background location, and location data is not tracked when the app is closed or not in use.
ChitSoft uses Bluetooth access solely to connect to external Bluetooth printers for printing receipts and transaction records requested by the user.
Bluetooth is activated only when the user initiates printer connection
Bluetooth is not used for tracking, advertising, or scanning nearby users
No Bluetooth data is stored or shared outside the device
Bluetooth access is limited strictly to printer connectivity functionality.
The app may request camera access to:
Capture receipt images
Capture or scan documents related to chit and loan records
Camera access is used only with user consent and strictly for app functionality.
ChitSoft may access device storage to:
Save user-generated receipts or documents
Temporarily store files required for printing or viewing
The app does not access all files on the device and does not use unrestricted or full storage access.
Files are accessed only for user-initiated actions.
ChitSoft integrates Google Maps features to:
Display location-based information when required by the chit business
Support secure verification and operational workflows
Maps functionality does not involve background tracking or continuous location monitoring.
Authorized users receive User ID and password directly from the chit business
New or unrecognized users may register using mobile number verification via OTP
Login access is granted only after successful credential and security verification
Location verification may act as an additional security layer during login
Collected information is used to:
Authenticate and authorize users
Provide access to permitted app features
Maintain accurate business and client records
Improve application security and reliability
Prevent unauthorized access or misuse
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing.
