The event planning timelines below help to assign responsibility for each item in the planning process for our simulation activities. The items are sorted into different sections based on when they need to be completed in the timeline. The sections are as follows: Pre-Confirmation, Pre-Case Arrival, Case Approval, Before Two Weeks Out, Before One Week Out, Under One Week Out, and Post-Event.
Pre-Confirmation- This section houses all the assigned tasks that need to be done between receiving the event request and official event confirmation
Pre-Case Arrival- This denotes the gray area between confirmation of the event and final creation of the major case items
Case Approval Process- This is the final approval process by the Implementation team to sort through case items and notice any major shifts in logistics
Before Two Weeks Out- These items can be done anywhere from confirmation to two weeks before the "go-live"
Before One Week Out- These items tend to require a bit more time for CHIPS to receive, but should be here and planned for a week before the event
Under One Week Out- This is the time for final review of the event and preparation of the training or dry runÂ
Post-Event- These tasks are those that are required to document all data associated with the sim event
