Every time you want to apply a different color, you can either create a whole new crew for each color you want, or you can repeat the above steps to change the color and reboot GTA for the change of crew color.
I was wondering if there was still a way to get modified crew colors. I tried to get either pure black or white, but everytime I do it says the color is not supported, while it clearly worked for others before. Couldn't find anything new on the subject, but figured I would at least try here.

Can somebody tell me is it safe to use modded crew colors? I saw a lot of nice custom colors that i would like to use, but knowing how R* can ban players for pretty much anything these days i have to ask to be sure. Some of color schemes are not supported by social club editor, so i'm concerned that using them might cause suspension and losing my progress, money, properties is worth a lot more than couple of nice colors.
The crew color I've been using since crew colors existed now "isn't supported." Is this something they "fixed" or something? Even inspect element won't work for me anymore. I don't want a bright ass Easter mobile. I just don't understand what harm my crew color is doing to anyone that it needs to be removed from the game.
I blame this on the idiots(YouTubers) that referred to it as "modded" crew colors. Same as pearlescent with crew or crew over metal or matte. The C* riders likely reported ppl for having these custom paint jobs leading to support getting tons of bogus report tickets and instead of back handing the morons like they should have for wasting their time and resources, they addressed the issue by simply removing the options all together because that is how R* deals with (non) issues.

Added: On my previously black Comet, I need to read up on how crew colors applies to the previous color, i know the metalls and chrome shine through, but my pic looks alot different from the one above, maybe its the light. 589ccfa754
