Men's Retreat 2020

Theme - Men and Fathers of the Bible

Friday Jan. 31–Saturday Feb. 1

Join this fellowship of men of all ages for a relaxing and thought-provoking retreat, which will run from Friday evening through Saturday afternoon at the St. Iakovos Retreat Center.

The retreat leader is Rev. Dr. Rick Demetrius Andrews, pastor of Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church in Glenview, Ill. He has earned a doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University (2019) and is a graduate of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology (Masters of Divinity, 1994). Additionally, he has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing (1988) from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. Women's Retreat 2019

Women of all ages were invited to this wonderful retreat which ran from Friday evening through Saturday afternoon (1/25-1/26) at the St. Iakovos Retreat Center. The retreat leader will be Mother Macrina of the Dormition of the Mother of God Orthodox Monastery in Rives Junction, Michigan. She has served the monastery for over 20 years, and is a warm and devout servant of God, and a gifted speaker.

Friday evening: Confident Women Saints to Emulate.

Saturday: Prayer—the Backbone of our Lives (parts 1 and 2).
