With countless Yeshivas & Kollelim, Chicago boasts a flourishing Torah community. Home to more than 45 shuls, 9 Kollelim, and 5 Yeshivos, including the famous Yeshivas Telze Chicago.
Going back more than a hundred and fifty years, the Chicago Jewish community has always been a metropolitan of yiddishkeit. Home to many gedolim, including the Rebbes of Zidichov, the Veitzener Rav, R' Chaim Dov Keller, and R' Avraham Chaim Levine, among others.
Known for its calm pace and relaxed lifestyle, the Chicago community is warm and accepting, where everyone has a place and feels welcome.
Situated on the quiet edge of the city of Chicago, in the neighborhoods of Wet Rogers Park and Peterson Park, and in the adjoining suburbs of Lincolnwood and Skokie; the area is quiet and peaceful. The park lined Chicago river runs right through the area, cutting through between the neighborhoods of Peterson Park and West Rogers Park; ducks and geese swim along it's quiet waters.
