Hi, I am a Research Fellow at the University of Verona in the Department of Economics. Previously, I worked as a Research Associate at the University of Luxembourg in the Department of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences. I hold a PhD in Economics from Lancaster University.Â
My research interests lie in the fields of Health Economics and Applied Economics (Development, Education and Labour Economics), with a focus on health and well-being outcomes. My work primarily includes the use of large longitudinal datasets and causal inference methods. I am currently working on topics related to staff retention and working environment in the healthcare sector, investigating factors affecting healthcare workers' health and well-being. I am also interested in the determinants of health in ageing populations and on the provision of (informal) care. My current research also explores intergenerational transmission of traits across generations using genetic and epigenetic data to investigate how genetic endowments interact with environmental factors.
