Welcome to my page!

Hi, I am a Research Associate at the University of Luxembourg, in the Department of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences. I have achieved a PhD in Economics at Lancaster University. Before the PhD, I obtained an Undergraduate (Double) Degree in International Business Management both from Cattolica University and Lancaster University, where I stayed to achieve a Master's degree in Economics.

My research interests lie in the fields of Health Economics and Applied Economics (Development, Education and Labour Economics), with a focus on health and well-being outcomes. My work primarily includes the use of large longitudinal datasets and causal inference methods. I am currently working on topics related to staff retention and working environment in the healthcare sector, investigating factors affecting healthcare workers' health and well-being. I am also interested in the determinants of health in ageing populations and on the provision of (informal) care. My current research also explores intergenerational transmission of traits across generations using genetic and epigenetic data to investigate how genetic endowments interact with environmental factors.
