Chiara Ardito

Hi, I'm Chiara! I work as a Quantitative Policy Analyst at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission (Ispra, Italy). I am also an affiliated researcher at Age-It, LABORatorio R. Revelli, and Netspar.

My research focuses on population ageing and the interplay between work, health, and socioeconomic conditions over the life course. More broadly, my interests lie in labour and public economics, with a particular focus on applied microeconomics and policy impact evaluation.

Before joining the JRC, I was an Assistant Professor of Economics at Ca' Foscari University of Venice and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Turin.

I hold the Italian National Scientific Qualification for Associate Professor in Economic Policy (13/A2), Public Economics (13/A3), and Demography and Social Statistics (13/D3).
