What is Laughter Yoga? & How Can it help you?

Laughter yoga combines movement exercises and yogic breathing techniques (Pranayama) with deliberate laughter, which brings more oxygen to our body and brain 🧠 making us feel more energetic and healthy💪🏼

1️⃣0️⃣ to 1️⃣5️⃣ minutes of LY exercises can reduce stress, make your immune system stronger and keep your mind positive during challenging times. 

It's an exercise program developed by Indian physician Dr Madan Kataria. 

It is practiced in more than 110 countries 🌎

In Laughter yoga anyone can laugh without relying on humour, jokes or comedies.

As a result, laughter yoga is designed to teach people how to laugh on cue rather than relying on people or things to bring joy.

It’s also used as a remedy for physical, psychological and spiritual ailments.

Our Laughter Yoga Story

We moved to the UK 🇬🇧 in 2021. 


Since then, we have been travelling across the UK via Pet sitting. We have since taken care of over 100 beautiful furry friends 🐶🐱 (but like family for us).


We are based in Cardiff and now work on spreading Joy through Laughter Yoga.


It is during our visit to India 🇮🇳 where we both were introduced to "Laughter Yoga" and instantly loved it.


We joined laughter yoga in the local community organised by elderly neighbours living nearby. 


Despite being so different in age, race and language, we bonded so well simply because of laughter, the universal language which instantly connects everyone.


We both realized how it is different from any other form of exercise, because it's full of joyful activities.

This is why we both want to spread this joy to as many people as possible. 

Laughter Yoga is the perfect way to get and remain healthy. 


It's also very easy to be consistent in doing Laughter Yoga, because when we are Joyful, we become Happy and uplifts our moods and at the same time keeps us healthy because of breathing exercises as well as the physical movements.


We are keen on spreading joy through Laughter Yoga to as many people as possible because we have experienced the joy and it's truly a form of exercise that we enjoy doing and look forward to doing it every single time.
