I like to refer to the classroom as one big book with many authors eager to flourish in the world of journalism. As Editor-in-Chief of The Pony Express, I have many duties I have to fulfill from editing a story to helping someone develop interview questions, or even just leading someone in the right path to find their headline. I have always had a desire to help when help is needed. It's one of my passions, especially when it comes to journalism. Through this role, I have learned leadership, responsibility, and accountability. I try my upmost to lead by example and aid my peers in finding that exact spark for journalism which I have found, and I am wiling to do whatever it takes to ensure this happens.
