C&H Hawaiian Grill is seeking a friendly and customer service-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our guests, handling transactions, and ensuring that our customers have a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
Pay Range: $11-$17 per hour, compensation commensurate with experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Greet and welcome customers as they enter the restaurant.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
Answer customer inquiries about menu items, specials, and promotions.
Ensure that the dining area is clean and tidy at all times.
Maintain a thorough understanding of our menu items, ingredients, and specials.
Work closely with the kitchen and management teams to ensure that orders are prepared and served correctly.
Assist with other duties as needed, such as cleaning and restocking supplies.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cashier, preferably in a restaurant or a similar setting.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
Basic math and computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
