C&H Hawaiian Grill is looking for a talented Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious Hawaiian dishes for our customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment, and your primary goal will be to deliver excellent customer service and ensure that our customers have a memorable dining experience.
Pay Range: $11-$17 per hour, compensation commensurate with experience
Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of Hawaiian dishes, including Poke bowls, Loco Moco, Kalua Pork, and Spam Musubi, among others.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to our recipes and meet our quality standards.
Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and adhere to all food safety standards.
Work closely with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure that orders are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaborate with the management team to develop new dishes and menu items.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a Hawaiian restaurant or a similar setting.
In-depth knowledge of Hawaiian cuisine and cooking techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality dishes consistently.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for cooking.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
