The Chesapeake Republican Party has a wide range of proposals to help solve the current epidemic. These proposals include, but are not limited to, increasing drug court spending, over the counter Naloxone, and higher thresholds for the CDC prescription guideline. We hope to halt the rise of the usage of opioids within the state through safe methods that will help our community come together.

The Chesapeake Republican Party takes a stance strongly in favor of rehabilitative action. This action is to take place in community sanctioned re-entry, increased judgeship, and removal of occupational licensing requirements to allow for faster integration.

The Chesapeake Republican Party takes a generally unorthodox approach to drug usage by its citizens. It stands for the legalization of many drugs such as marijuana and psychedelic variants but wishes to discourage the usage of such drugs. This is mainly seen through sin taxation and social stigmatization.
