Connect & Volunteer

The direct assistance we offer our neighbors is the core of our action, but that's not all we do.

You can also support your neighbors by signing up for food pantry distribution shifts, making and donating masks and other PPE for healthcare workers, printing and distributing flyers, and more.

Please be sure to read and adopt our Community Guidelines below. We're all in this together!

Community Guidelines

  • Kindness: Each of us is responsible for the culture we create. This community will not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.

  • Collective Ownership and Action: If there are community needs we have not considered yet, go ahead and take steps to address it. This space belongs to all of us.

  • Add People You Know: The more people in our group, the more effective it will be. Point your friends to our volunteer intake form, and if you have connections with organizations in the area, send us an email to let us know!

  • Prioritize The Vulnerable: Some of our neighbors are unable to access smartphones and computers, or are unbanked. With their permission, please share info related to their needs, but be mindful of their privacy and dignity.

  • Respect Privacy (including your own): In choosing to share your information, be mindful that this is a public space. Respect that others have shared their information.

  • Be Safe and Stop the Spread: Remember, stay home if you are feeling any symptoms of COVID-19. Be as careful as possible when supporting each other in-person . We want to be part of the solution, not further the problem.

  • What Happens In Real Life Matters: Be neighborly, kind, and humane out in the world. Use digital connection as a resource, but also leave it and be present in the world. We are all we've got.
