Cabrini-Hunter Fellowships
for Social Work and Nursing Students

Fall 2025 Application

There are critical shortages in both Social Work and Nursing professions and they play a critical role securing the physical and mental health care for underserved communities in New York City.  The goal of the Cabrini-Hunter Fellowships for Social Work and Nursing Students (CHF) is to train and prepare future healthcare professionals in interprofessional team-based practices.  Through the generous funding from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, Hunter College will offer an Interprofessional Education curriculum and fellowships to 30 students from the Hunter College Schools of Social Work and Nursing.  The Cabrini-Hunter Fellowship seeks to recruit 15 students at Silberman School of Social Work and 15 students at Hunter Bellevue School of Nursing for the Fall 2025 Semester.  Cabrini-Hunter Fellows (scholarship recipients) will engage in seminars, practice labs, workshops, academic and student support services, events, and professional development opportunities.
