Fall Chester County Youth & Family Pickup Ultimate

When: Wednesdays* at 5:30 PM  (until sundown/tired)     (*Games may shift to Monday or Tuesdays if the weather is a problem.)

Where: Shadyside Park, West Bradford Township, Downingtown

Who: All Ages and any level of experience! (Youth 10 and under benefit from the "touch = catch" rule)

Youth and Adults play in a combined "family friendly" game. If enough players participate, then side-by-side pick-up Games will occur: an adult game (16+) and a Youth & Family Game.

All ages and beginners welcome!

Bring a white and dark shirt, and plenty of water!

Cleats are recommended

Games and weather alerts and messages will be announced through the TeamSnap App.  Games are also visible on the calendar tab of this website. Please click the CCYU Mailing List Link to register for updates and the TeamSnap App.  Please use a parent's email address. Once you accept the invitation to join Team Snap you can change the details in the account and add additional email addresses or phone numbers as well as the player's information.

Phoenix Ultimate Academy is the youth development program created by the Philadelphia Phoenix, Philadelphia’s professional ultimate team. Phoenix Ultimate Academy's mission is to increase opportunities for Philadelphia area youth of all backgrounds, ages and skill levels to learn the exciting, new, non-contact sport of ultimate from professional caliber players and instructors. In addition to teaching rules and techniques of the sport, we focus on developing skills in communication, sportsmanship, body awareness, self-advocacy and conflict resolution - core values to the sport of ultimate and qualities integral to healthy youth development.

New! 30-min Fall Skills Clinic

8-Week Fall Youth Skills Clinic   

Want to learn more about Ultimate Frisbee, or take your skills to the next level? In the aim to help youth reach their full potential as athletes, ultimate players, and competitors the Phoenix Ultimate Academy is offering a new 8-Week Skills Clinic for all youth players in 6th to 12th Grades. Players will be grouped by skill level/age to best aim instruction to each player’s abilities. Skills instruction will focus on the following areas:

• Cutting

• Pulling

• Throwing Upside-Down: Hammer/Scoober

• Marking and Breaking the Mark

• Mossing/High-Pointing

• Agility

REGISTRATION DETAILS:

• Dates: Saturdays, September 12-October 31

• Time: 12:00PM-12:30PM

• Ages: Co-ed Youth 6th-12th Grades

• Skill Level: All

• Fee: $125

Registration for the Philadelphia Phoenix Fall Intramural League is now open!  We aim to help youth reach their full potential as athletes, ultimate players, and competitors. 

OUR VISION

1. To develop complete athletes in a supportive, and fun environment who excel in the technical, physical and psychological areas of competitive game play

2. To instill the values of team and community in our young players 

3. To provide a platform for our players to succeed at competitive levels of play

4. To nurture and expand friendships and social circles outside of school and immediate neighborhoods

PADA Youth now includes 15 leagues, 6 tournaments, 8 Outside of School Time (OST) programs, and 5 national-level travel teams.

Our high school programs, PHUEL, features over 50 teams across 36 schools and serves as a cornerstone for competitive youth Ultimate in the region.
