Chessio Privacy Policy
Chessio ("we", "our", "the app") respects your privacy.
Information we collect
Account data when you sign in with Google or Facebook: name, email, profile photo, and a unique user ID (Firebase Authentication).
Game data stored in Firebase: username, avatar, country flag, ratings, game history, puzzle progress, friend list, chat messages, and online status.
Device notifications: if you allow push alerts, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging. Notification preferences are stored on your device.
Anonymous guest play: limited local data on your device.
How we use data
To provide online play, matchmaking, friends, chat, leaderboards, and puzzle features.
To send notifications you opt into.
We do not sell your personal data.

Google Sign-In / Facebook Login (if you choose those sign-in methods)
Data retention & deletion Data remains while your account is active. To delete your account and associated game data, email chessio.dev@yahoo.com from the address linked to your account. We will delete your Firebase profile within 30 days. Guest mode data stays on your device until you uninstall the app.
Children The app is not directed at children under 13.
