The Cheshire Girls Football League is an FA Charter Standard league that has been providing high quality girls football competition for all ages for approaching 25 years
Welcome to the Cheshire Girls Football League.
Since our inaugural season in 1997, the league has remained steadfastly committed to offering outstanding community-based football for girls of ages, from the earliest foundation stages, through each age group, up to and including Under 16’s football.
Throughout this long and illustrious history the league has received much national and local recognition with numerous and illustrious awards following
The league continues to provide football to 1000s of players every week and ensures that these opportunities go far beyond just playing, to a longer lasting impact that fosters a lifelong love of the game, with all the life changing and defining possibilities that brings.

The purpose of the league has always been to provide competitive football opportunities to all girls of all abilities, in a safe & well-regulated manner, in a quality environment, that is accessible and inclusive to all, focused around the development needs of each player.
The match days we offer are based on the principles of fun and enjoyment with developmental competition underpinning the development of the players. A place to compete, in a pressure free environment, where you can develop your skills and have fun doing it
