Cherry Creek Anglers

Trout Unlimited Chapter #474

Our Mission: We are committed to introducing people to fishing and ensuring there are accessible fishing locations in Colorado in order to raise awareness for the need to conserve, restore and protect natural freshwater ecosystems, healthy watersheds and sustainable populations of wild cold-water fish.

H.E.A.R.T.

Our Chapter developed and maintain a wheelchair accessible fishing access in the Badger Basin area on The Middle Fork of the South Platte River. The ramp allows wheelchairs to access the river. This is the only wheelchair access of it's kind in northern Colorado. (Map)

Get Involved

Our members enjoy connecting with fellow anglers and the TU community. Many also give of their time, volunteering every year to protect, reconnect, and restore our trout fisheries in Northern Colorado.

60 Years of History

Established as an independent fly-fishing club we are one of the oldest conservation groups along the front range. Over the years our members became more interested in and involved with the mission of Trout Unlimited (TU) and we merged into Trout Unlimited as the local chapter for the Cherry Creek area.
