1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how the StayBoss app ("the App") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application. StayBoss is an operations management app for entire-property, day-wise rental businesses — such as farmhouses, villas, beach houses, flats, independent houses, cottages, bungalows, resorts, and homestays — used by property owners and their staff. 

2. Who We Are
StayBoss is developed and operated to help day-wise rental property businesses manage their day-to-day operations. There is currently no public self-service registration. If you would like to use StayBoss to manage your own property, please contact us at the email below, and we will set up access for your business owners and staff.

3. Information We Collect
The App collects and stores the following information:

Account Information
• Name, login ID, email address, and phone number of staff and admin users
• These are entered manually by the admin and are not collected automatically

Business Data
• Booking records (guest count, dates, payment status, notes)
• Booking payment records (amounts, status, and method — tracked internally, not processed through the App)
• Expense and financial records (amount, category, date, notes)
• Daily log entries
• Inventory and refill tracking records
• Business configuration settings
• Announcements and notifications created by admin users

No Automatically Collected Data
• The App does not collect location data
• The App does not access your camera, microphone, or contacts
• The App does not use advertising identifiers or tracking technologies
• The App does not collect any data from non-users

4. How We Use the Information
All data collected is used solely for the purpose of managing a business's property operations:
• Managing bookings, payments, and blocked dates
• Tracking expenses and financial overview
• Recording daily logs, inventory, and refill tracking
• Communicating with staff via announcements and notifications
• Managing staff accounts and access

5. Data Storage and Security
• All data is stored securely on a cloud server with encrypted connections (HTTPS)
• Access is restricted to authorised users only, protected by login credentials
• We do not sell, share, or disclose any data to third parties

6. Data Retention
Data is retained for as long as it is needed for business operations. Staff account data is deactivated when a staff member leaves. No automatic deletion is performed.

7. Your Rights
As an authorised user of the App, you may request:
• Access to your personal data stored in the App
• Correction of inaccurate personal data
• Deletion of your account (admin only)

8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including if we introduce new features such as self-service registration, in-app payments, or subscriptions. Any changes will be communicated to users through the App's announcement feature, and this policy will be updated accordingly before such features are enabled.
