Welcome
Hello,
I am a research scientist at the Joint Center for Satellite Data Assimilation, UCAR. I work on the Community Radiative Transfer Model (CRTM) to improve its simulation of aerosols for various scientific applications.
I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington, Seattle, supervised by Prof. Stephen Warren and Prof. Qiang Fu. I was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Irvine, Department of Earth System Science.
Research Interests
- Snow and sea ice
- Radiative transfer modeling
- Earth system modeling
- Airborne and deposited aerosols
