I am an explorer of abstract realms. Though, I often descend to concrete ones. :)
Currently, I am a Simons postdoc in mathematics in Kyiv at KSE.
My main study focuses on purely inseparable morphisms, which currently are the most understudied morphisms in algebraic geometry, though they has been with us for over 100 years.
My field is algebraic geometry in positive characteristic. I enjoy this theory, because a lot of classical geometric intuitions break there forcing enthusiastic explorers like me to develop new ones. Exciting!
Outside research, I love the lore of mathematics: philosophy, history, and anecdotes. My favorite parts are stories describing evolution of structures over time. But also, the ones about bizarre adventures of my math predecessors.
Finally, I am much more than just a math aficionado. I am also an amateur storyteller, improviser, aerial hoop performer, movement enthusiast, dancer, gamer, and the list goes on and on. I am a lot! :D
If you want to reach me for math, art, or any other reason, feel free to do so. Don't reject yourself! It is my job! <Wink>
