ChemLab is a visual chemistry learning application for students, simulating the entire experience from learning theory to safe practical work right in the browser without an internet connection. Users can learn theory by knowledge group (acids, bases, salts, metals, exchange reactions, neutralization, gas formation, precipitation, and indicators), each lesson includes concepts, example equations, common phenomena, and separate tests closely related to the lesson content. The comprehensive chemical handbook contains dozens of familiar substances with formulas, classifications, states, colors, and safety notes, as well as links to related reactions. In the Virtual Lab, players select any two substances and click "Mix Substances" to observe a vividly simulated reaction along with the equation, phenomenon, and detailed explanation. The Reaction Challenge area requires selecting the correct pair of substances to complete a task with a turn-based system and hints, while the Mystery Search mode tests your reasoning skills by guessing sample X based on clues. All activities are recorded through an experience points (XP) system, level, consecutive learning streaks, and achievement badges, allowing users to track their learning progress on their Personal page.
