Welcome to the Chemical Biology lab at the Department of Biotechnology, Bhupat and Jyoti Mehta School of Biosciences, Indian Institute of Technology- Madras. We are at the forefront of research in drug discovery, optimization, and targeted protein degradation. Our interdisciplinary approach combines expertise in medicinal chemistry and molecular design to develop novel compounds with enhanced therapeutic potential. By leveraging cutting-edge techniques in targeted protein degradation, including PROTACs and other molecular tools, we aim to selectively modulate disease-causing proteins.
