This policy explains what happens to your data when you play Cheeky Mole ("the game"), an Android game published by hytex1 game developer ("we"). In short: we do not run our own servers and we do not collect, store or sell your personal data ourselves. The game uses Google services, which process some data as described below.
Data kept on your device
The game saves your nickname, best score, remaining lives, sound setting and a counter used to decide when to show an ad. This data stays on your device, is not sent to us, and is removed when you clear the game's data or uninstall it. It also saves your slow-time timers, how many rewarded ads you watched today, your daily bonus count and whether you removed the ads. For the daily bonus the game asks a Google server for the current date. The game sends no personal data with that request but, like any internet request, it reaches Google with your device's IP address.
Google Play Games (optional sign-in)
If you sign in with Google Play Games, Google processes your Play Games player ID and display name, and the scores the game submits to the "High Scores" leaderboard. Your display name and score are visible to other players on the leaderboard. You can play without signing in; in that case no score is sent.
You can review or delete your Play Games data at any time in the Google Play Games app (Settings > Delete Play Games account & data).
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process your device's advertising ID, IP address (which can indicate your approximate location), device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Some ads are optional rewarded ads: you choose whether to watch one, and if you watch it to the end you get a free slow-time timer.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can refuse, and you can change your choice later from the Privacy option in the game. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.

Purchases
In-app purchases, where available, are processed by Google Play. We never receive or store your payment card details. The "Remove ads" purchase is tied to your Google account, so Google Play can restore it if you reinstall the game.
Children
Cheeky Mole is intended for adults (18 and over). It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, advertising-related processing and the storage of or access to information on your device for advertising are based on your consent. The leaderboard features are provided at your request when you choose to sign in with Google Play Games.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its use, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we hold no personal data ourselves, most requests are handled through your Google account (https://myaccount.google.com). If you contact us, we will help you with your request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
