Terms and Conditions for PDF-X
Effective Date: March 7, 2026
Welcome to PDF-X. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the PDF-X mobile application, developed and operated by CheckSum Technologies (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using PDF-X, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
PDF-X is an iOS app that provides document productivity tools, including:
Merge PDF
Compress PDF
PDF to Word
PDF to PowerPoint
Excel to PDF
Word to PDF
PPT to PDF
PNG to JPG
HEIC to JPG
HEIC to PNG
JPG to PNG
Lock PDF
Image to Text
Document Translation
Features may be added, removed, or changed at any time.
PDF-X offers auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple App Store billing (e.g., monthly and yearly plans shown in-app at time of purchase).
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at purchase confirmation.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Renewal charges occur within 24 hours before the current period ends.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple account settings:
Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > PDF-X
Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies.
Some features may be limited in the free version and available through Premium. Premium benefits may include, for example, reduced or removed ads and access to paid functionality.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PDF-X for personal, non-commercial use.
You must not:
Copy, sell, sublicense, redistribute, or exploit app content/code
Reverse engineer or attempt unauthorized access
Use the app for unlawful activity
All intellectual property rights in PDF-X remain with CheckSum Technologies and its licensors.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or reviews, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and display that feedback for product and marketing purposes. You are responsible for ensuring your submissions are lawful and non-infringing.
PDF-X may include third-party services (such as AdMob, analytics, subscription providers, cloud/storage or conversion providers). These services may process limited technical or usage data under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, links, or services.
Your use of PDF-X is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using PDF-X, you acknowledge and agree to our data practices described there.
PDF-X is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CheckSum Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from use of or inability to use PDF-X.
We may suspend or terminate access to PDF-X at any time if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, or where required for legal/security reasons.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted in-app or via our listed policy page. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of laws rules.
