Quick Feedback & Emojis

Teachers have the option of using the Quick Feedback functions to expedite written feedback. To access these options, simply click on the Quick Feedback link that appears below the feedback text box.

These include five pre-written statements (e.g., “Nailed it! Nice work!”) along with five open slots for phrases that you may frequently use for feedback and don’t want to repeatedly type. You can add your custom Quick Feedback phrases to your profile by clicking on the “edit pencil” icon to the right of the Create your own quick feedback slots.

Your custom feedback phrases are saved to your profile and may be accessed (or changed) in the Quick Feedback menu in other lessons and sections. To insert a Quick Feedback phrase, just click on it, and it will appear next to your cursor in the feedback box.

You can also offer feedback by using emojis, instead of or in combination with written feedback. To access these items, simply click on the happy face (to the right of the Quick Feedback menu link ) and click on the symbol you wish to add. The emoji will appear next to your cursor in the feedback box.

Your feedback can include a combination of emojis, text that you type yourself and Quick Feedback phrases.
