Overview
CheckMate is a browser extension designed to help users analyze pasted text for bias, emotional manipulation, and misinformation using AI-based analysis.
Data Collection
CheckMate does not automatically collect, store, or track any personal user data.
The only data processed is text that the user voluntarily pastes into the extension for analysis.
Data Usage
Submitted text is sent to a locally hosted or user-controlled analysis service for the sole purpose of generating analysis results. The data is processed only when the user clicks the "Analyze" button.
Data Storage
CheckMate does not store, retain, or log submitted text or analysis results after processing.
Data Sharing
CheckMate does not sell, share, or transfer user data to third parties.
Third-Party Services
CheckMate uses AI models and libraries for text analysis. No personal data is shared beyond what is required to generate results.
User Control
Users have full control over when and what text is analyzed. No background monitoring or automatic data collection occurs.
